About Us

   J.A. Controls, Inc. opened its doors in Oct. 1999 by owner Jim Adams Jr.  He has a very extensive knowledge of manufacturing and servicing motor control panels.  Starting in 1985 with his father Jim Adams, Sr. he manufactured control systems for many types of applications. 

  In 1991, Jim Adams, Jr. moved into the pump industry, gaining vast knowledge of pumps, pumping systems and various other types of rotating equipment applications.  Armed with this knowledge, J. A. Controls, Inc. has been able to become one of the leading control manufacturers and service companies in the southern United States.

  Backed with over 70 years of combined experience Jim, Jr. & Jim, Sr. continuously work side by side with just a handful of dedicated employees successfully assisting engineers, contractors, suppliers and end users with their ever so challenging control panel needs. 

  They take great pride in maintaining personal relations with all of their customers while taking care of the equipment they so duly protect and maintain.
